Archive Findings
The 2019 correspondence shows that a temperature log originally run at minimal injection was treated as weak support. After additional perforations and stimulation, the operator reran the temperature log when the well accepted fluid at a more useful rate. The same file also lists the evidence package needed for the D051 portion of the application: RBL, CIL, temperature log, wellbore schematic, conversion reports, and packer isolation test information. The 1994 workshop/guide reinforces the reason: hydraulic isolation logging was expected to be submitted with detailed interpretation before injection or disposal, and operating pressure could be limited to the pressure at which isolation logging was conducted.

Plan the logging program around the disposal design, not around whichever log is easiest to obtain. Before filing, check that the tested perforated interval, pressure, injection rate, and fluid movement match the interval and pressure requested in the application. If the well is not taking enough fluid, the log may not meaningfully demonstrate isolation; in that case, fix injectivity or redesign the logging program before relying on the result. Include the raw logs and a written interpretation tied to each objective: cement top, hydraulic isolation, casing condition, and packer integrity.
Current Guidance
Current Directive 051 requires required logs to be submitted with the Directive 051 application through DDS, including a detailed interpretation against each log's objective. Appendix 3 says active-injection logs should be run under normal injection conditions, preferably at or near the approved or requested MWHIP, with adequate wireline pressure control.
