Common Question

Why can a waste management component be missing from ST107?

Archive Findings

Historical records indicate that the approval in question was a component approval, not a Waste Management Facility approval, and components are not listed in ST107.

Before assuming an approval is missing, confirm whether it is a facility or a component. Use ST107 for listed facilities, but use the approval/application record and DDS path for components.

Current Guidance

Directive 058 identifies DDS as the submission system for new and modified oilfield waste management facilities and components. ST107 lists approved first- and third-party oilfield waste management facilities.
